Ripple Dance Academy is a dance school that provides fun and friendly dance classes in Rickmansworth.

We welcome boys and girls from 2 and a half years upwards and offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz.

Our pupils work towards examinations following the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers & Dance) syllabus. We also offer pupils the chance to perform in school shows and local events.

Term Dates 2019/2020

AUTUMN TERM – 12 Week Term

Monday 16th of September 2019 – Thursday 12th of December 2019.

Half Term: Monday 28th of October 2019 –  Friday 1st of November 2019.

SPRING TERM – 12 Weeks Term

Monday 6th of January 2020 – Thursady 2nd of April 2020.

Half Term: Monday 17th of February 2020 -Friday  21st of February 2020.

SUMMER TERM

Monday 20th of April 2020 – Monday 13th of July 2020.

Half Term: Monday 25th of May 2020 – Friday 29th of May 2020.

Please note we are closed on Bank Holidays.

There will be no classes on the Monday 4th May due to it being bank
holiday Monday, that lesson will be made up on the 13th July.

About Us

About Ripple Dance Academy

Ripple Dance Academy was founded in 2009, offering classes in tap and modern, following the ISTD syllabus.

Our examinations are accredited and count towards UCAS points for grade 6 upwards.

In 2012, we were lucky enough to take over Castle Street Dance Studios in Rickmansworth and now offer ballet classes following the ISTD syllabus, to go alongside the tap and modern classes. We also offer Jazz classes, Performance class, Stretching class and Adult classes

We offer classes from Pre-School children (Little Ripples) all the way up to Adult classes.

We endeavour to treat every child as an individual and encourage them to reach their full potential and shine as an individual whilst they are at the school. Whilst at the school, we encourage all pupils to respect one another.

Miss Amy

Teacher  & Principal
Qualifications – ISTD DDI Ballet,Miss Amy Tap and Modern

I have been teaching at Ripple Dance Academy since 2016. In July 2018, I took the helm as principal of the school.

I trained at Margaret Howard Theatre College, where I gained ISTD Intermediate ballet, Advanced 1 tap and Advanced 2 in Modern Theatre.
Additionally I studied Jazz and Hiphop.
While at College I gained my ISTD DDI teaching Qualifications in Tap, Ballet and Modern Theatre, and my practical DDE in Modern and Tap, I am now working towards finishing my DDE Qualifications.
I also took the Performing Arts Course at West Herts College and Graduated in 2013.

Prices per lesson:

30 Minute class: £5.00

45 Minute class: £5.50

1 Hour Class: £6.00

Perfomance Group – £50.00 Flat rate per term.

Prices are based on students doing 1 class, Further discounts Available for further
classes attended.
